Santa sitting on a vintage-look drum. The drum is made of paper mache. Bands at the top and bottom of the drum are a hand-painted vintage design like children's drums of the early 1900's. The drum is painted in blue while the top is ivory.Santa is dressed in the tradition blue and red. His pants are blue flanned and his coat is of faded red flannel. His face, hands, and boots are made of chalkware and hand-painted. He wears a cotton beard with a painted mustache as seen on many old santas. He holds a real feather tree sprig in his left hand and a small old brass bell in the other. At the end of Santa's hat is a paper holly leaf with a red berry. Trees, toys, and hand wrapped packages are on top of the drum and behind santa. Signed and dated.
