Santa with Sled

German style santa sitting on a hand made sled with different style Christmas trees at his back and in his hand. Santa's face is sculpted then molded and cast in chalkware. His hands and boots are done this way as well. Each is hand painted with much detail in the face. He wears a rusty brown flannel jacket trimmed in old cotton batting. Santa's pants are blue felt and his hat is made of hand dyed red flannel with a small pinecone at the end.The beard and mustache are of antique cotton. He carries a small celluloid deer in his right hand and a chenille brush tree in his left. Packages covered in vintage design holly paper sit on his lap. The entire piece is lightly snow glittered and aged. It measures 6 1/2" long X 3 " wide by 6 3/4" tall. Signed and dated.
