Santa with Sled II

Vintage German style santa sitting on a hand made wood sled. Santa's face,hands, and boots are sculpted and then molded in chalkware. Great detail goes into painting the face. His beard is antique cotton. Santa wears a coat and hat made of rusty flannel. The jacket is trimmed in dark green wool and his hat has green chenille trimwith a brass jingle bell at the end. His pants are blue flannel. There are three packages at his back and two in his lap. Each is covered in vintage look holly paper tied with string. He holds a vintage celluloid reindeer in his right hand and in his left, a feather tree sprig made of silver which will tarnish with age. The entire piece measures 6 1/2" long X 3" wide X 6 3/4" tall. Lightly dusted with snow glitter and aged. Signed and dated.
